A MEETING OF BRILLIANT MINDS
The 40th Anniversary System celebrates four
decades of Meridian founders Allen Boothroyd and Bob Stuart first working
together. This meeting of brilliant minds has proved extraordinarily successful
– plaudits received during this 40-year span include an unprecedented three
British Design Council Awards. Meridian products also form part of the
permanent collection in the New York Museum of Modern Art.
UNIQUE VERSIONS
The Anniversary System consists of unique versions of the 808 CD, the Digital Media System, and flagship DSP8000 Digital Active Loudspeakers. A triumph of design and essentially forty years in the making, each product in the 40th Anniversary System is a limited edition and includes never-to-be-repeated features, such as the specially selected colour. Allen selected a specially mixed tone - subtly darker than the Wine Red RAL - and will remain exclusive to owners of the 40th Anniversary System. For these limited edition products, aspects such as the speaker grilles are colour-matched and keyed to a custom dye.
LIMITED TO 40 SYSTEMS
To further mark this momentous anniversary, each product
carries a plaque displaying its limited edition number and the signatures of
Allen and Bob. This is Meridian’s most advanced audio replay system an only 40
systems will be available. Four decades in the making, the Meridian 40th
Anniversary System is undoubtedly worth the wait.
