The DVP1500 is a limited edition product offered as an option for installations that require adjustable output resolutions. Up to eight “Profiles” can be stored and easily recalled from the On-Screen Menu or via RS232 for easy operation and system integration. Each profile includes all setup and image parameters.

The DVP1500 Digital Cinema Source processor incorporates a DVD drive within a full-featured Faroudja video processor to optimize the digital quality of both audio and video elements of DVDs. In addition, all other analog sources can also be connected, processed and sent to the display via DVI.

Faroudja’s patented technology deinterlaces and optimizes the digital video signal and then scales it to the display’s native resolution. This optimized signal is then sent to the display via a pixel accurate DVI output for a stunning video image. Patented technology such as 3:2 Pull-Down with bad edit detection, DCDi, Cross-color suppression and TrueLife non-linear enhancement combine to create superb results from any display technology: plasma DLP, LCD DILA and CRT. Added to the DVP1500 is proprietary audio technology with low jitter crystal oscillators, RF suppression filters and more to produce superior audiophile performance. This combination of highly advanced video and audio engineering is the key to visibly and audibly exceptional digital theater systems.
