FDP-DLPHD20
High performance home theater now has an elegant and simple solution. The FDP-DLPHD20 is a complete display system that starts with an internal Faroudja video processing stage where all sources are converted to very high quality signals that are sent to the display engine. The display engine is a special design to improve critical black levels resulting in a contrast ratio of 2800:1.
Faroudja engineering provides the final critical step by fine-tuning the settings for contrast, brightness and gray scale to optimize the projector for home theater use. The final image is full of stunning detail and color with excellent contrast ratio.
For optimum performance from the FDP-DLPHD20 there are two package options.
Option 1:
The Faroudja NRS-DCS option offers a dramatic step up in performance by applying an internal DVD drive and sending the upconverted high resolution signal straight to the projector via a digital DVI cable for maximum performance.
Option 2:
The NRS-DVI offers a lower cost high performance solution by converting all analog 480i sources to DVI at the native resolution without using an internal DVD drive.
