Overview
All RMA Requests submitted for service/repair are reviewed by our technical support department. If additional information is required, the person listed within the contact section of the RMA Request form will be contacted either via Phone or e-Mail. If it is determined that the unit requires service/repair, a subsequent RMA number will be issued; please retain this RMA number, as it is required for all service/repair inquiries.
All RMA Requests received are expedited within the same Business Day (PST).
Warranty Service Request
- Customer pays freight to Faroudja for service/repair; return freight costs are paid by Faroudja.
- International customers are responsible for all Shipping, Customs, Duties and Taxes.
- Service/repair times are approximately five to seven Business Days from the date product is physically received at our facility.
Out of Warranty Service Request
- The cost for service/repair is $425.00 (USD), plus relevant shipping and handling. If service/repair costs appear to exceed $425.00 (i.e.: major damage or board replacement), the person listed within the contact section of the RMA Request form will be notified, prior to proceeding with repairs.
- Customer pays freight costs to/from Faroudja. Dependent upon requested return shipping method, freight costs typically range from $25.00 to $75.00 (Domestic Only).
- International customers are responsible for all Customs, Duties and Taxes.
- Service/repair times are approximately five to seven Business Days from the date product is physically received at our facility.
Shipping Information
- The unit should be returned in its original Faroudja Product Box. If the unit is received within a generic box, a signed waiver will be required if you prefer the unit be returned within the same generic box the product was received. Faroudja reserves the right to determine if the generic box will properly protect the unit for the return shipment. You will be contacted once service has been completed, and the unit is ready for return shipment.
- If you are unable to locate the original product box, or if the box the unit was shipped in is determined to be unsafe, one can be provided upon return shipment. The cost for a replacement product box is $50.00 to $75.00, depending on product weight class.
Payment Method
- All Service Repairs are Prepay Only.
- Payment may be remitted via MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Cashier’s Check or Wire Transfer. Your account will not be charged until all repairs are complete and the unit is ready for return shipment.
- International customers: If an International Freight Forwarder is preferred, please provide complete return shipment information.
