Meridian does the double at ISE 2020
with DSP750

We celebrated a successful ISE 2020, as our new DSP750 In-Wall Digital Active Loudspeaker took home two awards in the Best of Show Awards, and the CE Pro Top New Technology (TNT) Awards.

The DSP750 was honoured as a CE Pro Awards winner in the In-Ceiling / In-Wall Loudspeaker category, which recognises the very best in solutions exhibited at ISE. It also triumphed in the Residential Systems Best of Show Awards, another celebratory programme exclusive to ISE that provides a platform to draw attention to the new products and services launched at the show, as determined by a panel of anonymous professional integrators and journalists.

“Winning two awards is a fantastic achievement for Meridian and all the team behind the recently launched DSP750,” says Katy Bradshaw, Marketing Director at Meridian Audio. “Through years of expertise and innovation, this loudspeaker changes the way we perceive sound. Its ability to produce exceptional dynamic and immersive audio experiences in cinemas and media rooms is astonishing, and we’re proud to now call it double award-winning. The new product received a fantastic reception from dealers and integrators at ISE this year, and we welcome anyone to visit the Meridian HQ in Cambridgeshire for a demonstration of the DSP750, and to learn more about what we can offer.”

The DSP750 is our highest performing architectural loudspeaker yet, with a host of exclusive Meridian technologies on-board, plus, three new high-performance drive-units, Enhanced Bass Alignment, and a CLASS-M DSP engine that provides thermal and dynamic bass protection for detailed and accurate sound.

Designed for a natural and lifelike sound with high fidelity and perfect tonal balance, the DSP750 delivers a maximum output of 120dB and bass extension down to 30Hz. Its built-in custom tweeter with a beryllium dome and diffraction expansion technology ensures a wide sound dispersion for incredibly lifelike sound, capable of playing over 40kHz. The DSP750 has superb off-axis performance with two 100mm mid-range drivers, enabling it to produce a uniform and lifelike stereo image over a wide listening area, making it perfect for larger areas.

Visitors at ISE were also able to experience and hear the new in-wall speakers in action at the Barco Reference Theatre. Together with Braco projectors, the theatre had nine of the multi award-winning DSP750 loudspeakers and all of which produced exquisite power and bass, wowing listeners with ultimate surround sound quality, and, bringing people back time and time again.
