On 19 April 2025, AVATR's "Unbounded World" launch event at the Lijia Smart Venue, Chongqing, China welcomed guests including media, influencers, and industry figures.

Paul Andrews, Head of Automotive at Meridian Audio, and Jeremy Brown, International Sales Manager, represented the company. The brand zone featured our flagship White DSP8000 XE loudspeakers and the award-winning Ellipse streaming speaker, while live music played throughout the venue.

Advanced Technology for Electric Luxury

The AVATR 06 represents the fourth model in the partnership between Meridian and AVATR. As the first premium range-extended sedan in its class, the vehicle features six proprietary Meridian DSP technologies, including Re-Q, True Time and Intelli-Q.

These technologies monitor vehicle data including cabin acoustics and external noise conditions to deliver consistent sound quality regardless of driving conditions. Whether accelerating on motorways or navigating city traffic, the system adapts in real-time to maintain audio clarity. Meridian's Horizon Upmixer transforms stereo content into spacious surround sound, giving passengers a choice of listening experiences from pure stereo to full cinema-style audio.

"In the AVATR 06, every sound mode has its own bespoke tuning by our engineers—there's no 'one size fits all,'" says Paul Andrews. "Each setting is individually crafted, making every listening experience unique. We've designed this system to be powerful, adaptive and completely customisable."

Five Distinctive Sound Modes

Every sound mode in the AVATR 06 has been tuned by Meridian audio engineers:

• IMMERSIVE CINEMA: Tuned for film and entertainment

• PERSONALISED: Custom control over tonal balance

The system includes Personalised EQ Presets with 9-band EQ tuning. Meridian's EV-specific tuning adapts to the unique frequency characteristics of electric vehicles.

Guests experienced a rich program of après ski gatherings, wellness treatments, skincare sessions, and evening entertainment - all with a soundtrack provided by Meridian's high-performance speakers that matched the sophistication of the surroundings.

Product Integration

The "Unbounded World" event demonstrated how Meridian integrates with partner brands. Both in-car demonstrations and venue-wide audio systems gave attendees a complete audio experience.

The AVATR 06 features a butterfly-wing front fascia, frameless rear window, ultra-clear electronic side mirrors and the Starry Arc Floating Roof. Meridian's audio system integrates with this design through psychoacoustics, digital signal processing, and precision engineering.

The collaboration combines AVATR's intelligent mobility concept with Meridian's audio engineering. From launch events to daily driving, the sound system delivers consistent performance.
