Marketing Campaign Specialist

Thanks to a period of rapid growth we have an exciting new position to join our successful Marketing Team. This is a hands-on role, responsible for planning, creation, execution and monitoring of a wide variety of marketing campaigns that support the overall marketing and business strategy.


Primary Purpose:

To be the driving force behind our marketing campaigns – including brand, promotional and new product launches. This role will manage marketing campaigns from brief to completion, ensuring final deliverables across channels are aligned, relevant to the specific audience and delivered on brand, on time and to budget.

Main Duties:

  • Own the process of building marketing campaigns – ensuring cross-channel activities align with the business objectives. 
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to understand and develop marketing campaigns that support the overall business objectives.
  • Contribute ideas for future marketing programmes and campaigns.
  • Brief wider marketing team on specific objectives of each campaign and ensure all activity streams are in line with the overall campaign objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with specialist teams around the business, including Product, Engineering and Sales.
  • Brief external agencies, including PR, film, and design. Manage the delivery of specific projects to meet campaign objectives.
  • Provide input into the content creation strategy and manage specific content creation projects as required. 
  • Keep internal stakeholders informed of marketing plans and act as the go-to person for any internal marketing-related questions or requests.
  • Ensure marketing activity campaign plans are created, kept up-to-date and are visible to the marketing and wider business teams.
  • Ensure all campaigns, and the activities that create them, are on brand and aligned to the overall objectives.
  • Monitor marketing activity spend.
  • Track, analyse and report on the impact of all activities.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Marketing qualification(s) such as CIM, bachelor's Degree, or similar would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A minimum of 4 years of proven marketing experience, covering all elements of the marketing mix.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategy and traditional and digital media channels
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and CMS software and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • The ability to work within a fast-paced environment and used to working on multiple projects at the same time, as well as being responsive to change.
  • To be successful the postholder must be highly organised and possess strong communication and project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Attention to detail, leadership skills and ability to solve problems.

Responsible for the daily cleaning, upkeep and maintenance of the Meridian’s Latham Road property, inside and out. Further responsible for liaising with all regular office and building suppliers, including service and maintenance sub-contractors and acting as the first responder to any building maintenance issues that arise. Responsible for the security of the site, being the primary keyholder for the property responsible for daily opening and closing of the site and acting as the first responder for any alarm activations and security call-outs.


Main Duties:

  • To manage the maintenance and cleaning of building including, cleaning of communal areas, dusting, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying bins, using scrubbing machine on floor in factory, and other general cleaning duties.
  • To manage the maintenance and upkeep of the building: Lighting; flooring; bathrooms; doors; canteen; and other maintenance as required.
  • To manage the security of the building: Alarm system; CCTV system; door access system; emergency lighting; key holder management; main security contact.
  • To manage maintenance contracts such as groundsmen, window cleaners, security company, pest control, vending machine and drink machine providers.
  • To manage waste: shredding; hazardous waste; washroom waste; toner recycling; battery recycling.
  • To support business requirements for events and visitor groups in the building.
  • Other caretaking duties as required.


Experience, Skills Qualifications:

  • Commercial Cleaning experience is essential.
  • Full driving license essential.
  • Prior security training and experience are desirable but not essential.
  • Trade experience (plumbing, electrical, joinery etc.) is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexibility is essential.
