This was Defender’s third year as Official Vehicle Partner of Glastonbury Festival, and once again, Meridian delivered top sounds across Defender’s nearby guest campsite.
During the event, there were DSP8000XE, DSP7200, and custom-coloured DSP5200 speakers powering coverage of the event to the camp, while things were more relaxed for the Ellipse streaming speakers creating ambient soundscapes in wellness tents.
Meridian In The Field
Blazing sun, open farm fields Defender Camp was a nearby respite for their invited guests - not your typical Meridian setup. But when Defender needed audio for their lounge hosting guests our speakers proved they belong wherever great sound matters.
The partnership put Meridian's flagship products in front of Defender’s guests. From live feeds to ambient music, our speakers delivered both energetic and calming sounds.
The Right Sound for Every Space
Meridian placed speakers across Defender's camp, each with a specific job. DSP8000XE flagship speakers in black pumped out audio from broadcast coverage to the entertainment suite. DSP7200 speakers also delivered crisp festival action to secondary areas while we had bespoke Pangea green DSP5200s which were colour matched with Defender. Three compact Ellipse speakers created relaxing soundscapes in wellness tents.
British Brilliance
Defender conquers challenging terrain while Meridian conquers challenging acoustics. Two British brands built to perform in any environment. Defender's fleet of electric hybrid vehicles provided all-terrain mobility meanwhile, offsite at Defender’s campsite Meridian's speakers delivered crystal-clear sound regardless of outdoor conditions.
