The Audio Core 200 is a stereo audio controller, designed to unify all your audio sources and form an elegant system with any pair of Meridian DSP Loudspeakers.
It forms an easy connection with your CD player, tuner, set-top box, games console, media player, PC and more. The Audio Core 200 also contains a suite of Meridian audio enhancement technologies that power the best possible performance and lossless audio quality from all of your music sources.

Inspired by the advanced technology in Meridian’s popular 808.3 Signature Reference CD Player, the AC200 is a stereo audio controller designed to unify all your digital or analogue audio sources and form an elegant system with any pair of Meridian DSP Loudspeakers. Containing some of the most powerful audio enhancement technologies in the world it is truly equipped to be the heart of your system.
Meridian Q-Sync deploys Meridian's multiple “First In, First Out” buffering system which minimises jitter, ensuring perfect timing and improved clarity.
Meridian True Link is an encryption method for transferring high-definition digital audio over SPDIF connections. It allows secure movement of digital audio whilst ensuring that the SPDIF clock signal can be transmitted with minimum degradation.
True Time is Meridian's proprietary Apodising Filter that avoids pre-ringing and cleans up the effects of early filters, converting pre-echo to post-echo.
Multiple audio inputs, including SpeakerLink, 2 x Coax digital, 2 x 3.5 analogue and optical, analogue for RCA and USB for computer audio.
The Stage control takes into account the physical distance between the loudspeakers while the Width control adjusts the amount of stereo widening applied to the stereo soundstage.
AC200 features a high-performance Analogue-to-Digital Converter (ADC) to feed its headphone output. This output can be configured as fixed or variable, with the option of whether or not the the main outputs are muted when headphones are used.
