Meridian Bass & Space is a stereo enhancement technology designed to optimise and increase the sense of soundstage width. It is perfectly suited to systems where the left and right channels may not be optimally spaced apart, such as smaller, portable speakers.
By applying frequency and signal specific processing, Bass & Space can improve the perceived soundstage width whilst maintaining a coherent image, and strong bass.
Sometimes it is necessary to increase the soundstage width and spaciousness, especially in the case of smaller sound systems. Generic algorithms can lead to an incoherent soundstage with low-frequency phase issues.
